Erick Sosa sculpted this new Hulk but he isn’t new to sculpting ‘ol Jade Jaws as he was also the sculptor of the previously released (2010) and Ed McGuinness inspired Hulk and Red Hulk statues (also by Koto).
I am a big fan of the earlier Hulk sculpts so I was very anxious to see what Erick would do with another Hulk. The more pictures I see of this statue, the more I am impressed. Erick’s sculpting skills are proven but I have to admit, I have always been a little skeptical of digital sculpting but statues like this are winning me over to this newest sculpting technique. I love the bulk and musculature on this Hulk and the face looks incredible!
Stay tuned for more information on this statue, including price and release date, etc. Being a prototype, we may also see some slight color modifications. Time to find more room on the statue shelves!

I loved the Fall of the Hulks statues. This one looked amazing at Toy Fair, and I’m excited for its release. Nice work by Erick, as always!
I agree. I have the green Hulk from the Fall of the Hulks statues that Erick sculpted and I love it – he really nailed the Ed McGuinness look and I thought it translated very well into 3D. I am amazed that Erick was able to maintain the level of detail in the new digitally sculpted Hulk. Do you know if the new Hulk is part of the ArtFX+ series?
