Big changes coming for the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

As hinted earlier, Marvel has big plans for the Hulk in MCU movies going forward. The article below shares even more on this development via an interview with Mark Ruffalo at the recent D23 Expo. We knew this was coming when the Planet Hulk story line was introduced as Hulk was not a completely mindless beast in that story arc. Here is a quote from Ruffalo:

“There’s a huge change for Banner and for Hulk. It isn’t resolved in the first Infinity War, it sort of culminates into the second Infinity War. Thor 3 is the beginning of a lot of changes for Banner and for Hulk.”

So it looks like this will play out over multiple MCU movies going forward. Check out the video below that was part of the interview, particularly where Don Cheadle is talking about the future of the Hulk character. At one point he makes reference to a color change. Could we see the grey Hulk incarnation? With Marvel’s track record on movies, I am expecting big things for our favorite Jade Giant!

  1. I’m so excited. I’m bummed we won’t be getting a solo Hulk film anytime soon but I’m super happy Marvel found a way to make it happen given all the red tape. I can’t wait to see how things change and how these fit into the Marvel movies after Infinity War. Marvel has yet to make a truly bad movie. They know the material. They know the characters. They know how to make a good movie. I’m really holding onto the hope here.

    • You and me both GG3K! I know a lot of people don’t want the Hulk to evolve from the current MCU depiction but I think it has to happen and I am excited to see how Marvel pushes the character forward.
