The newest Hulk statue released by Bowen Designs started shipping recently and pictures are popping up on several websites. Some of the best early pictures are coming from a big Hulk fan who goes by aeumuse. His pictures are breath-taking and look very professional. His website, cassuallyobsessing, contains hi resolution pictures of this beautiful statue so be sure to check out the link for a lot of great images. I have this on order from my LCS and will do a full review once it arrives in hand. Based on the images I am seeing, I am a big fan of this statue already. We have known that this statue is strongly influenced by Sal Buscema’s classic style from the 70’s but I also see a strong nod to Ed McGuinness. I picked mine up at my LCS over the weekend. Another excellent statue by Bowen, but I still like the web site variant better.
I agree Jeff – I don’t see myself liking this one better than the variant either but I think it will be a little closer than I expected when I first opened the variant. My LCS didn’t have mine last week so I am hopeful that it shows up soon. What part of the country are you in?
